For my first entry i wanted to show some concept sketches i did a couple of days ago, after digging in my head for SOMETHING i might be able to make a film about. i thought of the two coolest things i could think of at the moment, and then it hit me. dinosaurs, and samurais. BAM. put em together, and i got this guy.
before i go into anything else, i apologize if some of these images look low quality. My scanner back home is pretty cheap. Anyway, this guy doesn't have a name yet, but I'm workin on it. He's a T-Rex samurai, and he's pissed.
why is he pissed? not sure. But these are some quick sketches i did of the possible adversary for my t-Rex samurai. To get some diversity in my cast, i want the villain to be a heavy set character. Someone who looks really tough to beat. although these dinosaurs look a little more anthropomorphic than my t-Rex design so I'm open to suggestions on what i should do.
These were some thumbnails on how i imagined some of the scenes will go down. however ill go more in touch with my story in my next post. hopefully its more fleshed out by then. But for now, I'm excited about this idea and i want to see it through. Or at least until i come up with something better.
